The Nathaniel Dett Chorale is Canada’s first professional choral group dedicated to the performance of Afrocentric music of all styles including classical, spirituals, jazz, folk and blues. Founded by Brainerd Blyden-Taylor in 1998 to celebrate the work of African-Canadian composer R. Nathaniel Dett, the Chorale has since toured the world, showcasing the full spectrum of Afrocentric choral music, and recently appeared on this stage in concert with American soprano Kathleen Battle.

The Nathaniel Dett Chorale will be performing a concert of classical choral music at this landmark Canadian venue.
